Conclusion

ERCP on-call emergencies such as cholangitis, biliary pancreatitis, stent migrations, perforations, and hemobilia are all commonly encountered in clinical practice. Most of these situations can be managed endoscopically, but some require multimodality therapy with surgery or interventional radiology involvement.
